Highlights of Parish Community

- Net growth of 3 families (4 new families with 1 family moving away)
- CCD had over 70 students this year
- Huge thanks to Lisa Soto for her work as CCD Coordinator and to our teachers!
- Annual Golf Scramble, Fall Dinner, Country Dance, Trivia Night, Pitch/Card Nights, among other events.
- Parish Council prayed together through Lent and Easter to discern what the Holy Spirit shows us as the greatest area for growth in our parish. There was a regular sense that the Holy Spirit desires to bring more unity into our parish. This was the impetus for us sharing prayer intentions before Sunday Masses.

Maintenance & Building Items
- New church building process was slowed due to pastor change, hoping to get more momentum this year. We have done a population study of expected growth for our parish and I am now working with the Diocese to get the green-light to start a financial study and work on more thorough architect drawings.
- Purchased 1.81 acres for St. Leo’s Cemetery from State for $27,500
- Dirt work on new cemetery land is being done in exchange for allowing highway work crew to park on our land for a few weeks.
- Finished levelling cemetery monuments in both cemeteries - $8,475
- Replaced heat exchanger in west furnace at St. Martin’s – covered by donor.
- Hired Capitol HVAC for routine maintenance on all HVAC systems.
- Stabilized Divine Mercy Hall entryway - $10,660.70
- Replaced rectory deck due to safety concerns - $18,827.56
- Looking at possibility of putting keypad lock at St. Martin’s, but would need to replace push plates on the doors and finding push plates that accommodate keypad locks has proven difficult.

Potential Large Expenses for 2026-27
St. Martin’s roof is experiencing significant leaks on the west side. The roof is scheduled to be inspected. Cost – Unknown, but expected to be +$20,000
Pius Campaign – Our parish is set to contribute to the Pius building project a total of $75k by 2029.
